Develop your skills in molecular biology with our one-week summer camp for senior level high school and undergraduate students. This in-lab experience would give participants the opportunity to gain hands-on laboratory skills and additional practical knowledge which will support them throughout their future endeavors. Our student-centered, guided inquiry approach allows participants to work at their own pace in an exploratory environment with the goal of fostering an interest in biogenetics. Participants will investigate possible applications and careers through guest lectures and activities such as creating and transforming a plasmid, running a PCR and analyzing a gel.
